SingCope is a Danish project, built by John Kjøller — a choir singer and software developer (Popweb). It started as a tool for his own choir, Aarhus Teaters Kor — the choir of Aarhus Teater in Denmark, where SingCope is in daily use. The project grew, and today it is a powerful helper for choirs of every kind, shaped by real rehearsals, real concerts and real choir life.

Calendar & events
Plan the whole season: rehearsals, concerts and meetings with invitations sent to exactly the right people. Singers respond with one tap, see who else is coming, comment on the event — and find the programme, sheet music and files for the day right on the event page. When an event belongs to a project, its repertoire follows along automatically: open the event, and the scores and practice recordings are right there, ready to sing from. And your rehearsals don't have to live in a second calendar: every member can subscribe to a personal calendar feed in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or any other calendar app — always up to date, automatically.
Season planning
A new season means dozens of rehearsals, concerts and meetings — and nobody wants their singers pinged for every half-planned date. In draft mode the calendar becomes your private planning board: events you create are drafts only admins can see, imports land silently, and the live calendar stays untouched. When the plan is ready, one Publish makes it all real — invitations go out for every new event, and each singer gets a single tidy notification instead of thirty.
Projects & progress
A concert doesn't start on stage — it starts months earlier. Create a project as a private draft, share it with your co-planners, connect the season's events, build the repertoire and programme, and keep planning notes that can be shared, printed or saved as PDFs. When everything is ready, publish — and your singers see it all, with milestones showing how far you've come. Every connected event carries the project's repertoire, so the right sheet music is in every singer's hand at every rehearsal. Finished projects file themselves in the archive.

Sheet music & repertoire
Your entire library in one place, tagged by voice group. Track physical copies and who has them, attach recordings and parts, connect repertoire to events and projects — and every singer sees at a glance whether they have sung a piece before. Singers read scores full-screen and can start and stop the attached practice recording without leaving the music — rehearse your part with the score in front of you. Everyone can draw and write their own markings on the sheet music: circles around the tricky bars, breathing marks, reminders — private to each singer and there on all their devices. And the choir leader can publish their markings into the PDF itself, so the whole choir sings from the same notes — automatically, on every event and project where the piece is used.
Rehearsal recordings
Practice starts with hearing yourself. Record with the microphone in the iPhone, iPad and Android apps, and your take is saved as a personal file on the project — private to you, on all your devices. Attach a take to a song in the repertoire and it plays alongside the official practice files wherever that song appears, clearly marked as your own recording. You can upload audio and other personal files from the web too, project leaders can share the best takes with the whole choir — and when a project is over, SingCope helps you tidy up old takes so they never clutter the choir's storage.

A simple ledger made for choirs: membership fees, grants, performance income, musicians and equipment — categorised, with per-year summaries, and a budget on every concert project that flows into the books when the project goes live. Managed by your own accountant, without giving them any other admin rights.
Safe for children
Choirs with children stay safe: each child member is linked to a parent/guardian account. The parent sees exactly what the child sees, can act on their behalf, and decides what the child may do themselves — from wall posts to poll votes. Admins can message the parent directly, and the child cannot log in before the parent's account is set up.
SingCope Community
SingCope Community connects choirs: present your choir in the public directory, announce upcoming concerts, and swap shout-outs with choirs across the country.

What is SingCope?

How much does SingCope cost?
SingCope is billed once a year per choir and starts with a free trial. One subscription covers your whole choir — individual members never pay — and you can cancel at any time.
Is SingCope safe for children?
Yes. Younger singers take part through parent or guardian accounts, and administrators can choose which features each child may use, so choirs with children can use SingCope safely.
Which devices can I use SingCope on?
SingCope works in any web browser on your computer and as native apps for iPhone, iPad and Android — all from the same account.
Do we need technical skills to get started?
No. You create your choir, invite your singers by email, and the calendar, sheet music, messages and everything else are ready to use straight away.
Can I see rehearsals in my own calendar app?
Yes. Every member has a personal calendar feed that can be added to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook or any other calendar app — rehearsals, concerts and meetings appear there automatically and stay up to date.
Can I plan the season without notifying my singers?
Yes. Draft mode lets choir admins build the whole season — events and projects — without sending any invitations or notifications. Members see nothing until you hit Publish; then invitations go out for the new events, and every singer gets one combined notification.
How do singers respond to rehearsals and concerts?
Open the event and choose accept or decline — with an optional reason when declining. Admins and conductors see the responses on the event’s attendance list.
How do I control my notifications?
Open My settings → Notification settings. Every type can be switched on or off separately for in-app, push and email.
How do we share rehearsal recordings?
On a project, choir managers can record or upload audio and publish it to the members. Singers can also keep private practice takes of their own when the choir has that enabled.
How do I change the language?
Open My settings → Defaults & language and pick your language. SingCope speaks English, Danish, German and Dutch.
For choir administrators
How do I invite singers to my choir?
Open Members, paste their email addresses in the invite box, pick a role and send. Everyone gets a personal link that creates their free account and joins them to the choir.
How do I add sheet music?
Open the Music archive, create an arrangement and upload the PDF under Sheet music. Add the arrangement to a project or event, and singers open it right from the event. Upload only sheet music your choir has the right to use.
How do I attach the repertoire to every rehearsal for a concert?
Create a project for the concert and add the repertoire to it — each song with its sheet music and practice tracks. Every event linked to the project, rehearsals and the concert alike, then shows the full repertoire under Files automatically.
How do I create a poll?
Admins and content providers open Polls and tap New poll: enter the question and at least two answer options, set when voting closes, and choose whether multiple choices, comments and anonymous voting are allowed. Every member is notified and can vote while the poll is open.
How do I remove a member from the choir?
Admins open Members, tap the person’s name and choose Remove from choir. Their posts and messages stay with the choir; they simply lose access.
